First up normal screenings resume tonight! And we’ll still be meeting this Friday even though it is a public holiday.

Secondly this Saturday (26th April) we are hosting the Canberra videogame tournament Canberra Colosseum 5! It will run from 10am-10pm in the MCC Foyer, with the Tournaments starting at 11am. There are some entry fees that vary depending on what games you want to play. And it is a Battle Arena Melbourne 6 qualifier for those competitive gamers amongst us.

Thirdly, next Friday (2nd May) will be a Pizza Night!! Come along and get some delicious free pizza. We will also be selling some super cheap softdrinks. So come along and get a good feed as well as watching good anime/playing good games!

Fourthly- Wednesday the 7th of May will be a special screenings night with CiT Students. We will be playing a few special things includes two OVAs from the Young Animator Training Project.

Lastly- GAMMA.CON Tickets are now on sale and everyone should go- it is going to be an awesome event!.Also the GAMMA.Squad are looking for volunteers to help out on the day so if you want to help Canberra’s pop culture convention be awesome you should volunteer.

Also we’ve been sent a request by a researcher from the University of Queensland for people to partake in some videogame research:

Want to get involved in real science research?
The QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute is seeking volunteers to participate in a 30-45min online survey on internet use and videogaming.
